Bill Meyers

I did some extensive research on Bill Meyers to find out the truth behind this guy. Turns out he's got a huge following that has some rather interesting stories to tell about him.

According to one internet marketer I interviewed, Bill Meyers advocated going to your used bookstore and looking for product ideas there.

And when you think about it, that's a tremendous idea. If you don't have any ideas of your own, simply go down a used bookstore and look for books with catchy, attention grabbing titles.

Bill Meyers teaches us that the reason you focus on used book stores as opposed to new book stores is because your goal is to find old books that have been forgotten about. If you find an old dusty book on the shelf of a used book store, the odds are that it would be easy to contact the author of the book. You might be able to call or email the author and obtain rights to re-publish his/her book online for a 5% to 10% royalty.

The authors of outdated and sometimes out of print books are extremely likely to be willing to make a generous deal with you. Bill even suggested that the author would probably be flattered that there is a re-newed interest in his/her book. This would make that author even more friendly towards you and your offer.

From the various interviews I've conducted, I've actually learned quite a bit about Bill Myers. The main thing I learned is that he's a darn good internet marketer and he deserves my respect. Just recently I've began an effort to make contact with Bill so I can interview him. I will consider my famous collection of interviews with marketers complete after I interview Bill Myers.
